Revolution 2012—A Citizens War on Congress is a fictional, timely, satirical and humorous commentary on the historic past, present and future of American Politics.

The manuscript looks at past and current events, using factional and satirical conversations together with predictions from some of our nation’s founders and selected past Presidents, coupled with current politicians and news commentators on the election of 2012. Through their eyes and mouths, events are interposed with documented quotes and historical incidents. Appearing throughout the book, the factional dialog is a humorous and educational review of American politics.

California Republican Governor William (Bill) Jordan, a potential candidate for President in the 2012 Election, has grave doubts on the direction the country is headed, the extreme right and left wings of both parties and the current mean-spirited political landscape in general. He also has serious doubts about what course he should take in his campaign and how to change the country’s direction.

When the clock strikes 10:30 each evening, Jordan finds himself transported to the faux Independence Hall in Buena Park California, where his political career began. Inside, historical political notables are engaged in a Symposium; they offer help for his campaign and give answers to his questions on politics, governance, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Transported nightly to the same site, and later in the manuscript, visits to his home by several past presidents, Jordan asks fresh questions, and gets historically factual answers from former political leaders in language of today, mixed with satirical and humorous factional responses.

The significance of the clock strike-time is unveiled in the final chapters along with the shocking results of the War on Congress and what happens to Governor Jordan.
