The car glided up to the main resort building. With polished and, seemingly effortless efficiency, doors were held open and she was greeted, by name, by every employee. She was escorted to a private check-in desk, given her room card, and assigned a personal resort liaison, who would be available to assist her with anything she desired, which was not already provided by the resort. All this information was delivered in a very professional, but completely personal manner. Anna felt as if she’d been welcomed into a very exclusive, new family.
As she was beginning to leave the building, she noticed a tall, dark-haired man, passing through the public reception area. As she passed, he caught her eye and smiled. She assumed he was one half of a honeymooning couple, but there was an overt sexuality radiating from him that definitely did not seem like that of a newly married man on his honeymoon, unless he was trolling for a new wife, already. She felt his frank gaze traveling from her face down her body, apparently, taking in every detail and liking what he saw. Normally, she would be offended by such a blatantly lascivious look, but she felt something different, some immediate and visceral attraction. She boldly returned his smile, slid her gaze down his body, and continued on her way out of the lobby.
