Paul wrote Colossians to people searching for more. They wondered whether Jesus was everything they'd originally hoped. They felt drawn toward other paths of spiritual fulfillment. Jesus is fine, but is he really enough? Is he everything we need? Don't we need to grow, to evolve, to move on from Jesus? Perhaps. But what if all we need is more of what we already have? What if all we need is more Jesus?
