It is the early morning hours of Christmas Eve 2002. My heart shatters; the pain is excruciating. My world, as I knew it, has ended.
Holding the phone in my trembling hand, I listen to the news that my 16-year-old son, Kory, has just been killed in a car accident. All I want to do is see him, touch him, let him know that I love him. Where is he now? Kory died on that tragic night, but miraculously my contact with him did not end.
