Maoist Movement in Nepal: A sociological Perspective

Nepal, a South Asian Himalayan country, has been of late suffering from a crisis of Maoist insurgency. It began with simultaneous raids on government offices, police posts and private businesses by the Maoist in the name of the ‘People’s War’ on February 13, 1996.
