The Basement

The Basement is the first installment in the three part series following the story of Cole and Sarah. The first book, The Basement, deals with Cole, a ten year old boy who has shunned any sort of emotional connections ever since his mother left him. His father, Wilcox, is a distant man who only provides the necessities for Cole but shows no emotion or compassion towards his son. Cole has settled into his emotionless lifestyle until he decides to break the one rule his father had always stressed, never go into the basement. When a stranger from Cole's past shows up looking for her missing sister a link is revealed between Wilcox and a rash of missing girls. To clear his father's name he decides to venture into the basement and what he finds destroys everything he thought he knew about not only his father but him self. Buried deep inside of him could there really be a sickness that could cause innocent young Cole to turn into a cold blooded killer?
