The Mines of Tartarus

Kip Grant and his friends Dorcas Thomas and elf Camalus travel across the deep tracks of space to rescue Kip's father who was kidnapped by space pirates (see "The Pirates of Thantos)and sold into slavery. All along the way, the young adventurers are beset by problems that could endanger their mission. Aided by Dorcas, Kip must battle vampires that are just beginning to spread to the outer planets.
