Author Betty Jean Jefferson is a native of Hertford, NC, and currently resides in Norfolk, VA, with her husband, Edward, of twenty-eight years. She holds a B.S. degree in psychology and a master’s degree in special education. She is currently working on her second master’s, which is in school guidance, and she plans to use it to enhance the lives of school-age children.
Betty Jean is an educator of seventeen years who loves to read, write, and share the message of God’s love through her book, God’s CPR: Comfort, Peace, and Rescue. The author is a witness that through life’s trials and hardships, regardless of your station in life, God will meet you right there and begin to minister to your every need. God’s CPR is a personal testimony of the author’s own spine-tingling experience of how ordinary people like herself can receive God’s grace, mercy, and an endless wealth of blessings. God loves each and every one of us. The author knows firsthand what it felt like to land rock bottom in a hole of despair with no daylight in sight, but by the grace of God she was able to rise above her debilitating circumstances and become a better and wiser person.
Throughout her book, she shares with you how God gave her endless peace in the midnight hour, enormous comfort when she wanted to give up, and his on-time rescue at the eleventh hour and how her life keeps getting better because of him.
