Envy of the Light Bringer

Over a thousand years ago, the first Urusan city suddenly appeared. It's shining spires and granite walls tower over the peaks of the Superstition Mountains. Since their arrival, the Urusan have rarely left their city, all but ignoring the Accadian people. They only venture out to put an end to rebellion with swift and terrible action.
Mag and Eric have had a difficult life since the technologically advanced and physically superior Urusan leveled their city and left their home in dust. A few short months later, their father leaves without a word. A hotheaded teenager, Mag grows angrier each day while his much younger brother Eric, unable to understand, chooses to imagine his father fighting against the hated Urusan as a rebel soldier. Despite traveling across the city to attend a better school and living in welfare housing, Mag excels in football and becomes one of the most sought after players in the league while Eric becomes his biggest fan.
Life is finally coming together for both brothers until Mag’s physical abilities on the field far surpass even the greatest of players. Instigated by the sudden appearance of one of the reclusive Urusan spying on Mag during practice, Mag and Eric are thrust on a journey to seek and uncover the truth about the destruction of their city and why their father left. If they're not careful, what they uncover may jeopardize their future, and the future of every other person on the planet.
