American Heritage 101

There was a simpler time in history when Americans had a clear understanding of who we were as a people and a nation. We seemed to also understand what was important in life; things like God, family and country. In the past, America was divinely blessed and prospered because she refused to compromise her values. History records that a small group of pilgrims left the tyranny of England and risked their families’ lives crossing the dangerous Atlantic in search of a New World where they could holdfast to those values.

Today, the prosperity and blessings bestowed upon America are slowly fading away. Our country’s values have also shifted away from God, country and family, and further toward self-indulgence and apathy. Public dysfunction and dishonor is the order of the day both in the church and in political leadership. Whenever a people or a nation lowers its standards and compromises its values, it is only a matter of time before a complete social, economic and political breakdown occurs.

This prophetic book explores some reasons why American values have changed for the worse. It also offers suggestions on how we can recapture the passion and foresight of our founders ensuring that all Americans can continue their pursuit of happiness focusing on our common values rather than our social, religious and political differences. Together we can prosper, but divided we will fall.
