Zach joined the National Guard to pay for school. And he thought he had served his time after one tour in Iraq. But after the Eastern Seaboard is taken over by the undead, he is called upon to contain an outbreak.

What he doesn't know is that the town he must contain is his hometown. Who has been turned into the walking dead? Will he be able to pull the trigger against his own people?
