Occasional Singing

Mostly these are love songs of one sort or another,
written over the years as I sobered up enough to see the world
for the beautiful place it is.

I believe we are meant to sing, each of us in our own fashion,
and our songs together — our lives together — comprise
the tapestry that is God's Creation.

I'm just a little brown bird chirping in a tree.
