This book is an exact, high-definition copy of the 1898 print version of the book. Unlike other e-copies of the book, it is not a transcription, which may be full of typographic errors.
"Exact" means that if the print version has any inscriptions or previous owner's name in the front of the book, so, too, will this e-book; blank pages that often separate chapters will be left in; and, any pages that may have a folded corner or other, similar factor will be present, too.
In other words, no changes have been made to either the illustrations or the text.
Clarence E. Mulford (3 February 1883- 10 May 1956) was the author of Hopalong Cassidy, written in 1904. He wrote it in Fryeburg, Maine, United States, and the many stories and 28 novels were followed by radio, feature film, television, and comic book versions. Clarence was born in Streator, Illinois. He died of complications from surgery in Portland, Maine. He set aside much of his money from his books for local charities.
