Rim of the Sandhills: Why I Am Still a Christian is the story of the author’s coming to faith in Christ as a teenager and his growing development of both a firm Christian faith and a fully developed rational apologetic. It is a story of his deepening reasons for holding that faith with a conviction of its truth that it is as firm today as when he encountered the presence of God during childhood.

Emphasis falls on the signals of transcendence that trigger a recognition of the presence of God in and through the natural world and the world of literature and the arts.
