The life of a double-agent can be difficult, especially when you don't always know who you're working for. Mr. Hicks plays the part of a former Russian agent purportedly working for the CIA. The story follows his professional life as an agent who specializes in linguistics and dialects. Mr. Hicks spends the bulk of his life helping to avert the biggest nuclear standoffs that our planet has ever seen. His role constantly changes, but his signature name always remains.
Several years later, now retired to a small, quiet town outside of London, Mr. Hicks is greeted by a group of professional hitmen. He narrowly escapes the surprise attack, traveling back to the United States to try to determine why he is wanted, and by who. Teaming up with his old ally, Mr. Hicks searches back in time for answers...but the more he investigates his career the more he questions his life's work.
