Once Innocent (Cries Unheard)

April Highlander has been struggling to survive ever since her father started abusing her at a young age. April would never have survived without her siblings Paul, and Kayla. But when the three children met a young black gentleman who delivered groceries. That is, until things got out of hand and the young black man was murdered. April was forced by her own father to kill the young black man. Paul, Kayla, and April were forced into silence in fear they too would be killed. The three children made a packet to remain silent about the drugs, alcohol, abuse and the murder of an innocent man.
