Recreating Emily

On the anniversary of the night they met, Sarah Sanders walks in on her husband, Paul, and another woman in the throes of passion. After blacking out from shock, she wakes up in the body of her former self – nineteen years younger, nineteen years in the past.

At first, she thinks she is experiencing a very realistic, if not supremely bizarre nightmare. But as her stomach rumbles from hunger, and she feels a pang of what might be menstrual cramps, she realizes: this may not be a dream after all . And if it isn’t, then her soul-mate-in-daughter-form, Emily, is yet to be born.

Unable to “wake up” and get back to her old life, Sarah realizes there is only one way to be reunited with the daughter she loved: recreate her from scratch. To accomplish this, she will duplicate history, reliving her life exactly as she had before.

Sarah learns life has a way of taking you on a ride you didn’t stand in line for. Nothing goes as planned, including discovering her soul-mate-in-male-form is an old friend, Jared Finely. Hiding the truth from Jared, Sarah devises an alternate scheme. She knows the exact night Emily was conceived. She will seduce Paul on that night, and walk away pregnant with her beloved daughter.

If she succeeds, she gets the boy and the daughter. If she fails, she stands to lose it all.
