The Second Book in The Little Women’s series. Jo and her husband Professor Baer have opened up a boarding school for boys with a few girl pupils as well. They take in paying students, and orphans, sponsored by the generosity of Mr. Laurence. The Baer’s love each of the boys as if they were their own; their methods for teaching and raising their students are delightful and unconventional. This book makes you want to laugh and cry.
