The Radio Santa

In 1964, when I was 9 years old, Mom won a radio station contest for writing a jingle. Her prize, my prize, was a visit from the Radio Santa with his big bag of gifts. But before he could find us someone took him away, and with him went my Christmas spirit. And yet something miraculous happened... looking back on it I see it now. I didn't see it then.
