Flying Lessons

This is a story about the Irish Mafia; the infiltration
of thousands of Irish immigrants new to our
shores who struggled and labored for years to grasp
power and money and became gangsters with the
rallying cry of more and more and anyone who gets
in the way will be shoved aside and buried in unmarked
graves.
Flynn and his family become involved when
three Irish nationals confront Stretch Wiggins
Costigan in her flower shop and threaten to shoot
her if she doesn’t give up the whereabouts of her
friend Paulie Bascomb, an Irishman tasked with soliciting
money from Irish men and women to be
sent home to help fight the British. Paulie is headed
back to the U.S. to continue his quest. He was not
aware that he would be confronted with the three
men in Stretch’s flower shop.
The leader pulled his revolver. Stretch laughed
and asked him he wanted to scare her or shoot her
and he said both. Stretch had no choice but to shoot
first killing all three. That was the beginning the
family’s fight with the shadow governments of local,
State, even reaching into Washington’s leadership.
All this would ultimately lead to the realization
that the final aim was Global domination by a
group of wealthy men, ever patient to rule the
world.
