Susan's Snail Ornament to Crochet

This item is an ebooklet crochet pattern showing you how to make this sweet little snail in two sizes. You can make this snail family and the tiny butterfly friend again and again; they are addictive, fun, and cheerful! I remember drawing stacks and stacks of snails and their butterfly cohorts when I was a kid in the 70's; this little guy is a nod to those innocent times.

You will need a size 4 steel thread crochet hook, crochet thread or fashion crochet thread, and perhaps some fabric stiffener if you wish.

You'll need to know chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet ,and double triple crochet. (Find out about all these stitches with a quick youtube search!)

They work up to approximately 2 1/4" inches long if you use fashion crochet thread, about 2" long for the baby version; the butterflies are tiny little miniatures which turn out about an inch wide when made with crochet thread.

There is a key to abbreviations included, several photos, two diagrams, and of course the crochet instructions.
