Fast Forward - Surviving the Race to the Future features Linda Schurman’s interpretations of what lies ahead; the challenges and significant crises humanity is facing today, alongside possible solutions our civilization may choose to implement. She examines the meanings behind the December 21, 2012 date for the end of the approximately 5200 year Maya Long Count and other cycles we are now ending and entering such as the better known 2100 year cycle of precession referred to as the Aquarian Age.

Linda unrelentingly examines the downward descent our society is currently experiencing; its economic crises, political conflicts, global climate change, tectonic instabilities, and the challenges of a more personal nature within humans themselves. She believes we need to know truths about how America is being controlled by institutions and people we do not understand and how we can take back our democracy.
