Truer Than True

The reputed author, Plutarch Vico, born in 1776 to a family breeding for longevity, claims to have known every American president. His work is fact-fict, which (as the name indicates) is a mixture of fact and fiction, making his revealing biographies of the 43 American presidents truer than true. That’s his story, anyway. Excellent teaching tool. Some groundling humor. Many true facts mixed with insightful stories, many of which are adaptations of literary and film classics.
