Susan's Small Owl Crocheted Ornament

This is my quick and easy crocheted owl pattern! It's a darling, 70's style owl which differs from other patterns in that it's very simple, just 3 rounds on top of a disc of double crochet stitches. You'll be able to finish one of these in about 10 minutes, and top it off with 4 or 5 embroidery stitches and two beads. It also comes with the tiny thread crochet Santa Hat that makes him happy and festive!

You only need to know chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet.

You'll need a size 4 steel thread crochet hook and fashion crochet thread, or a size F aluminum hook and some medium weight yarn. (Both instructions for a yarn version and a thread crochet version are included.) You'll also want a needle and some embroidery floss and two beads per owl.
