To Get Me To You centers around the life of Katherine Spencer who has been abused by her father and recently deceased husband. She has only known fear and hatred her whole life so it is easy to understand why it is so difficult for her to allow anyone to get too close to her. In an attempt to rebuild her life, she moves to a small country town filled with friendly, down-to-earth people. She has never known anything like this before. Over the course of five years, she makes friends and finds a happy life for herself. However, the memories of her past continue to haunt her dreams. She realizes the only way to truly move on with her life is to face her past. With the help of her new friends, she finds the strength to come to terms with what happened to her.
