White Knight

Tess lets her emotions run away with her--literally. Trouble is it's not something she has enough talent to do alone, and its killing her. But as the mother of the most anticipated child in two worlds and powerful in her own right, many people are interested in her health and welfare. After a perilous jump that almost burns her out Tess's wardens decide its time to interfere. They go to the First of the council and get permission to release a White Knight to assist their damsel in distress.
