Climbing Colorado's Fourteeners

This article contains short essays about climbing some of Colorado's "fourteeners," fourteen thousand foot mountains, during the late 1960s and 1970s. It tells of the exhilaration upon reaching a summit as well as the mistakes that were made. The enemies were sudden storms, cold weather, and darkness.
