Timeless Marine - Prequel

when an ancient warrior is smuggled out of Hell, he finds himself on Earth - an immortal who is free to practice his old vocation forever. Alexander, as he now calls himself, sails from Le Havre in France to the new world and settles in New York City. He quickly joins the rebellious American militia in its fight against the oppressive English, and when the 'Continental Marines' are formed in 1775 in Philadelphia, Alex is one of their first volunteer recruits.
Alex is so enamored with being a Marine that he rejoins the Corps repeatedly under different guises during the next two-hundred and thirty five years and serves with great distinction.
The story takes us to the present time and Alex's strange new adventures as he assembles a small group of very close friends.
