Success Thru Public Speaking

Thirty-five years ago, while serving our law clerkship to­gether, it was my pleasure to be associated with the author and observe his intense desire and determination to speak effectively, concisely and articulately. He had reason to carry a dictionary as a bible—to be forever reading, because he loved the art of expression—and he was well rewarded for his efforts. Since then he has constantly been in demand over these years to keynote some of the most important and largest functions in our State, whether the affair was a meeting of lawyers, teachers, judges, parent teachers as­sociations, fraternal groups, veterans or other groups.
He has continuously served as a successful trial lawyer, municipal attorney, state legislator and in many other offi­cial capacities.
I am glad he has written this book so that all of us who love a humorous story, an epigram or a well planned speech may benefit from his experience because he is truly an ex­pert.
