Book II of Comrades at Arms continues the story of Jacques' family, friends, and children, with the main characterbeing his son Rudi.
Very much like his parents before him, Rudi becomes an avid flyer at a very young age and ends up as a Plebe at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. He misses participating in World War II but becomes an expert fighter pilot after undergoing flight school at Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida.
His dream of becoming a 'Sky Warrior' becomes a reality when he is recruited by the Jewish underground to serve in the about to become a reality Israeli Air Force. Once hostilities begin, Rudi becomes a famous fighter pilot ace and a high ranking officer in the IDF, and participates in many hair-raising dogfights.
