The Grabour Bush

The Grabour Bush is a short story about a young African girl faced with a terrifying decision as she is coming face to face with the age old traditional of female circumcision. Fatu is the only child of her father's senior wife and until now has lived an uneventful life as a loved child in her village, but it is the unexpected encounter she has with her eccentric grandmother that sets this short provocative story into motion.
