Beekman's Big Deal

Beekman O'Day has lived his entire life in Manhattan. He and his father, who makes deals for a living, have occupied many hotel rooms and apartments. Beekman has been to at least nine different schools. He's tired of it all. A perfect day would be one in which nothing happens. But his life is about to change. And in the process he makes a deal with his father. No more moving. They shake on it. When the promise is broken, Beekman stands his ground. He is a boy who learns to fight for what he believes in.
