Hello From Kiev: Three Tiny Stories

Three short stories give the full flavor of life in Ukraine. “The Most Powerful Man in the World” is based on a true story about the helplessness of world leaders when confronted with a wily Ukrainian man, who turns the leaders’ grand plans into dust. “An Honest Lawyer” depicts the battle between a young, idealistic lawyer against an old and corrupt judge. The last story, “The Killer’s Life,” shows why an aging champion fighter decides to give up professional fighting, and the consequences of his decision.
