In my mind, the exact activities would flood my memory. I would write them all down because distinct pictures came into my head.
Sort of like a TV story board would come up, as my fingers would type away, fast and furious the old memories came flooding from my memory bank…
I believe that people's minds are like a computer hard disc, as you click on a memory, the rest of the story comes through!
There were five of us kids, and we were always part of my parent's outside activities! Especially at night! Night time on the farm was so exciting. And the night we enjoyed "Mama's Chicken Pickin', Late At Night, Down on The Farm" was a WOW moment in our lives!
This was an activity we did every Fall, putting the Chickens into the Chicken House for the winter; but this one year, this very special year, was to linger in our minds for many years to come.
For me, the night came out from my memory bank into a serious story board, and when I brought it to my mind, I sat down at my keyboard and just let the memories flow!
