Loneliness knocked on the door, the love of Jesus answered dressed as an inmate. Amazingly, we were made to feel welcome to share deep thoughts, worries, deeds, hatreds and most of all care for another human being. Surprising that the prisoners offered the deep thoughts and care. They had learned to deal with deeds, worries and hatreds and had much to teach two old codgers from Virginia. Blessings abound to all.
What do you have to offer to someone who has nothing in common with you? You are seventy years old – would a 30 year old three time loser want to correspond with you? After six months and 250 letters the answer is yes, definitely YES! Join us in learning to love as Jesus instructed.
