The Crumbs of Love

Motivated solely by the commendation and encouragement of the alluring woman who inspired these writings, my beautiful wife, Connie, I am reaching into my paltry bucket of crumbs and spreading them out for your consumption.
Some of these poems were written when I was still in High School in Chicago when I first met Connie. Others were written during our 30-year-long separation. Most are recent poems written after this long anticipated love has finally fully blossomed.
Poetry is very personal. As Stephen Jama taught, “Poetry is like a kiss and you just can’t kiss everyone.” Still, I hope those who flock to this bucket of crumbs will find some small amount of pleasure and nourishment herein.
