Kingdom Island

When Billionaire Marcus Brooks dies, he leaves his fortune to his autistic son Shawn who seizes the opportunity to act on his twisted fantasy of kingdom. Shawn buys a remote island in the north pacific and declares himself a sovereign country. Soon he builds a huge complex and gives citizenship to those who wish to join him in his utopic world free of crime and poverty.

Soon those who have left their homes behind for the promise of a perfect Eden begin to doubt their decision. As Shawn’s kingdom becomes more of a dictatorship than a utopia, many try to leave the island only to find out that they can’t. Those who plot rebellion are publicly tortured and executed.
