Written by one of the most revered surfers of his generation, Surf Is Where You Find It, by Gerry Lopez, is a collection of stories about lessons learned during a lifetime of surfing. It presents a collection of 38 stories about those who have been influential in the sport--surfing any time, anywhere, and in any way. Lopez made his reputation at Pipeline; from there he went on to a lifelong career in surfing, and more recently in snowboarding. He co-founded Lightning Bolt® Maui surfboards (lightningboltmaui.com), was instrumental in developing the high-performance shortboard, and has appeared in many films. He lives in Bend, Oregon, with his wife and son.
