The key to quality and effective Achievement-Based Curriculum in physical education is assessment. Valid placement and instructional decisions cannot be made or evaluated without appropriate assessment data, that is, you must know what a student can and cannot do on a task before you can begin to make a decision. These same procedures apply to both small and large decisions.
