The Lance

The Lance is a short story that follows the affair of a patently under-qualified loser being hunted by a murdering demoness. Among his friends and allies are an angel and devil he met in a movie theater one night, the goblin who changes his oil, an ancient sorcerer with no patience for tardiness and nothing but time on his hands, and his gay buddy who beat up the kids who teased him in middle school.

In the first part, the characters are introduced in a digest of the blog entries in which they first appeared. In the second, they are flung into a deadly confrontation with a fallen angel from the choirs before time.
