Mary Williams, a Virginia educator, wrote three biographies of the beloved Confederate generals, Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, and JEB Stuart in 1898, 1911, and 1914, respectively. These insightful biographies were to become classics. Booker House Publishing, Inc. has added historical annotations to enhance the book, with the text of the original remaining. New illustrations have also been added which are of better quality than the originals. In addition, the text has been specially formatted for the electronic reader.
