Modern Astrology maintains that human beings have personal characteristics which are related to the position of the planets, otherwise called heavenly bodies, at the time of their birth. Planets are formed of cosmic materials. Without doubt, we also are formed of cosmic materials, chemically and physically, and therefore the cosmic forces contained in the planets exert a certain influence over us.
The cosmic mass we call Earth draws us to itself— towards its center—according to Newton's Law of Gravity. The cosmic mass we call the Sun warms us, and warmth and heat have a definite influence on the existence of life in all its forms. The Moon, too, has certain influences on us. Affliction brought on by the Moon is an officially acknowledged medical fact.
The Moon causes ebb and flow of the tide, as every child knows. As we say, it influences water. It is well known that the human body consists of about 70 per cent water; it is, therefore, not unlikely that the position of the Moon influences our bodies.
Modern science is gaining daily more information about space and time, and it will not be long until a deeper insight and correct knowledge of the conditions prevailing on other planets will be achieved, and a firm scientific basis for a new radiation theory will be found. There is every likelihood that what astrology calls “influences” will be proved correct, despite unbelieving and belittling so-called “logical minds” who do not even concede the possibility of doubt. The word IMPOSSIBLE has disappeared in the electronic and space travel age.
Necessarily, the outlines of character have to be brief. It is true that there are many surface variations among people born under each sign but, basically, they all have the same approach to life.
However, it should be noted that, as soon as a child is born, its environment begins to modify its character and, naturally, the reaction of any person will differ vitally in accordance with his education and upbringing.
