Nathan Fischer made a mistake when he was young, rejecting his best friend “BarkingMadd” (a friend made in the fantasy game The Land of Shallowsea) when Barking came out as gay. After graduating from college, Nathan renews his internet identity of “BiteMe” and goes in search of his lost friend - and makes an unexpected new one in game moderator, “Hatter”.
