Sarah is bored and lustful as she lies on the beach, but she is dissatisfied with Burton, her date. Then she hears stories about sea creatures and the Sea Devil.

She decides to explore.

"If you wish to see what our beach has to offer," he continued. "Stay out late tonight. We have--creatures of the water, here. Some say they are almost human."

"What?" she replied, startled.

Burton bumped into her from behind. "Surfboards? I didn't know you surfed. Hey! I'll rent one. How much is it per hour?"

Less than an hour later, Burton was half-drowned, bubbling water, and the irate lifeguard ordered him back on shore after the second rescue. The bleeding cut on his forehead would heal, Burton insisted. Nonetheless, he wobbled as he headed back to his car to fetch the first-aid kit.

"How do you know so much about them? Are you one of them? What is your name?" She smiled at him and gave a feminine laugh of disbelief.

"Only their acolyte," he replied, his voice ocean-deep. "My name is Ludo."

She hesitated. It was still daylight, and the beach was covered with visitors. Besides, she loved exploring along seashores.

She started off and felt herself lightly, very lightly--snagged. His hand had taken hold of the bikini tie knotted between her shoulder blades. It came undone as she walked and fell out of his hand.

She strolled on, feeling the loose bikini top brushing her breasts with each step, hanging on only by the cord around her neck, the wind threatening to expose her breasts with the slightest gust.

She felt she was now an offering, prepared.
