THE OUR FATHER

The Lord’s Prayer is truly the summary of the whole gospel. It is the most perfect of prayers. In it we ask for all the things we can rightly desire in the sequence that they should be desired. We confess the sanctification of his name, the coming of the kingdom, and the fulfillment of his will. Through the word of God the Holy Spirit gives life to the hearts. Let us press beyond spiritual struggles to the saving, healing, and resurrecting power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
