Gold Nuggets of Wisdom Picked Up Along My Path

Roughly seventy years ago, I began collecting “wise sayings” similar to the way a stamp collector collects stamps. Some came from my father and mother. Some came from grade-school teachers. Some came from my personal observations on life. I picked up most of them so many years ago that I cannot recall their source. Fortunately, they are ageless.
As they grew in number, I began to think of them as my collection of “gold nuggets” that I was picking up along life’s pathway. They are valuable. They seemed worthy of review occasionally to further guide the steps of my pilgrimage. Two or three years ago, I began organizing the bulging folder of my bits of wisdom, purely for sharing with my adult son and daughter. Perhaps some may help make your journey a bit richer.
