The adventures of Jenny the Beagle begin here, in a book created specifically for children (and their parents) who enjoy reading stories about dogs and how special they are. Sandra Wolf has written this series about a caring dog and her family in a straightforward manner, and incorporates characters that children can readily identify with. The story is made more colorful and realistic with illustrations by renowned artist Leon Wolf.

Jenny the beagle is dog-napped, and she has only self-reliance and determination to find her way home again. Meanwhile, Jenny’s human family receives a demand for ransom to have Jenny returned, and turns to the police for help. Can the Grant family and Officer Welch work together to help catch the bad guys and bring Jenny home?
