Young Wisdom

Young Wisdom is a one-act play of three scenes. It involves parents, brothers and sisters, teenagers and younger, and competition for the attention of a boy. Three girls all like the same boy. They and the boy are all teenagers and in the same class in school. The girls want the attention of the boy, but their teacher leads them to understand the importance of an education. The boy who is the center of attention wants to go get a job after graduation from high school. But, one of the girls makes him promise that he will continue his education. He sees in her an unselfish friend, one who wants him to further himself, not just pay attention to her. In seeing this, he understands that she is thinking of him and of his future. This causes him to have a sincere and heartfelt feeling for her and to put her above the other girls.
