The Sinfulness of Worshipping God with Men's Institutions

Willard preached this sermon on introducing false worship into God’s worship. The text is Matthew 15:9, “But in vain do they worship me, teaching for Doctrines the Commandments of Men.” The Sin which Willard expounds here is introducing Human institutions into and making them parts of Divine Worship. This is a teaching that continues to be needful in our own day where “anything goes” as long as it attracts people to the church. Elders, pastors, members, people of all kinds who attend church need to hear what Willard says concerning Christ’s teaching about false worship.
