Jennifer Hanson had married Lennard Brown to have a dad for Michael, then six. Now, after four years, her life is in danger. Len's abuse worsens. Then he moves her to the country, where she meets Sylvia and Larry Ford. Sylvia speaks of God's love and forgiveness, but Jen cannot 'hear' because of bad childhood experiences.
